Janet Fogg - "Innovative Traditionals"
2-day workshop - Saturday and Sunday, October 10 & 11, 2009
6 hours each day - 9:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m.

Skill Level: Beginner - Advanced Space Available Workshop Fee: $180.00 Deposit - $50.00 to reserve your space, balance due no later than August 5, 2009. Online payments are due in full. Location - To be determined Supply list available at a later date

In this 2-day workshop, we will explore as a group the many ways a quilt can be both traditional and innovative at the same time. The first day involves visualization and group brainstorming sessions geared to move the design process along. Janet will show slides of her quilts and discuss how they were conceptualized. She will then work with each student individually to help formulate a design plan for their own projects. After getting everyone started on a path, the remainder of the time in the workshop will be spent drawing, sewing and enjoying as a group the wide variety of projects in progress.
