PVQ Workshop - "Dollmaker's Choice" with elinor peace bailey

Class Description:

Expand your horizons. Don’t limit your fabric stash to just quilts! Have fun and be inspired by elinor as you create your own personal one-of-a-kind doll. Take this opportunity to be creative. Let your imagination take you on a new journey with one of the most sought-after dollmakers. You can expect a fun-filled day of hands-on work on your chosen project, along with instructions and demonstrations.

Participants will need to pre-purchase any of the patterns from elinor’s catalog at www.epbdolls.com , or from a local quilt store. The "Victorian Doll" is recommended if you are looking for a simpler pattern.

In addition, some preparation prior to the workshop is requested by elinor. Participants are requested to do the following:

  1. Purchase the pattern of your choice at least two weeks in advance (add more time if ordering online).
  2. Read the pattern.
  3. Cut out the pieces of your pattern. (If you are making the "Me, Myself and I" doll, you may wish to reshape some of the pieces, so cut out only the back of the head prior to class.)
  • All skill levels welcome! Need not be a PVQ member to participate!

    *Note! Please bring to class if you have:
    1) Desk lamp or Ott light to light your work area
    2) Heavy duty extension cord

  • Date: Saturday, April 4, 2009
    9am - 4pm, 6 hour workshop

  • Maximum class size 20, Minimum class size 15
    Cost of Workshop $75
    Deposit ($40.00) to secure your spot, balance due by March 4, 2009

    Make all checks payable to PVQ. Please note on the memo line which workshop you are registering for. Balance must be paid in full by the due date or your space will be forfeited. In the event of your cancellation, deposit/payment will be refunded only if workshop fills to the maximum of 20 participants.
