PVQ sponsors three retreats each year, retreats are open to participants outside of our membership.
Participants join
together to sew on their own projects, socialize and relax for three/four days. The retreat fee includes your room and meals.
Participants bring projects and equipment of their own choice.
These are wonderful stress-relievers and a great way to get to know fellow quilters!
Cascade Retreat
Cascades retreat accommodates up to 80 quilters, and is held at the beautiful Cascades Camp
& Conference Center outside Yelm, Washington. Horseback riding, hiking trails and more await! Some members
bring bicycles for riding on the trails.
Usually this retreat is held on Mother's Day weekend.
Check in time is 1:00pm Thursday and check out time is noon on Sunday so there is time for everyone to be home in time for Mother's Day celebrations.
2012 retreat dates are: May 10-13, 2012.
Seabeck Retreats are held at the Seabeck Christian Conference Center located on
Hood Canal in Seabeck, Washington. Beautiful grounds, wonderful meals and lots of fun are always in store at this retreat!
